Company Overview
In 1997, One View was founded under the name CD-View with the intent to help its customers extract critical data from their computer systems and export onto more easily accessible media via CD-ROMs. Aided by the acquisition of Shaffstall Corporation in 2000, CD-View grew to assist customers with a variety of data conversion and archiving needs, most specifically in the automotive industry. In 2004, CD-View rebranded as One View to accommodate its growing slate of services, including industry-first web-based data access. One View expanded into document scanning in 2006 and by 2009, was the first vendor to be certified by BMW North America to allow document shredding and electronic copies during warranty audits. One View has continued to innovate through the years, building compatibility with all DMS vendors to provide data archiving, document scanning, DMS data conversion, and financial analysis tools. In 2018, One View released its revamped web platform: One View Vault. Today, the company continues to develop new products and services for the evolving automotive industry.
Inspired by his many years of experience working with microfiche, and a stint in Santa Barbara selling cars, Founder David DeHaven recognized the unique challenge dealers were facing as they tried to maintain control, and ownership, of their data. Through this experience and the development of close relationships with dealers, CFOs, and CPAs, David has been able to fine tune One View’s products to help dealers decrease expense and increase productivity.
Headquartered in Indianapolis, One View has witnessed the city transform into a growing tech hub over the last 22 years. As one of the early players in the Indy SaaS community, One View has been at the forefront of technology and innovation in the automotive industry. Today, One View is a proud partner with dealerships across all of North America.
