Beginning July 1, 2021, access to One View Vault using Internet Explorer (IE) will no longer be supported.

One View Vault users are asked to use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari. All browsers are available for free download by their provider. For assistance installing a new web browser, contact One View Support.

Why is One View ending Internet Explorer support and Vault access?

One View prioritizes security and user experience, neither of which are best supported by Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer has not been updated by Microsoft since October of 2013. Our Development Team has optimized Vault for updated web browsers, not Internet Explorer. If you are currently browsing Vault on Internet Explorer, you may have a diminished user experience.

What will happen if I try to use Internet Explorer after July 1st?

If you attempt to log into Vault after July 1, 2021, you will receive a notification to utilize a modern browser. Users will not be permitted to login into Vault until an appropriate browser is used.

How can I change my default browser?

This is a critical step in moving away from Internet Explorer. A default browser is the browser application (IE, Edge, Chrome, etc.) your computer will open when you click on a link. To avoid using Internet Explorer, download a different browser and change your default browser to that updated application.

Will changing web browser affect my Vault experience?

Yes, switching to any web browser other than Internet Explorer will improve your browsing experience within Vault. One View has optimized Vault for updated browsers, such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. By switching from IE, you should experience improved Vault speed and feature capabilities.

Will changing web browsers affect my Vault access or account data?

No, Vault user access and data is not impacted by the web browser. The only thing impacted is the user experience, which will be improved by switching to an updated browser.
