Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

One View Vault users will be required to use two-factor authentication, as per changes mandated in the Graham Leach Bliley Act (GLBA).  Since these requirements have been pushed back until June 2023, organizations can opt out of the MFA requirements until that deadline.

Let's Get Started!

Setting up your Vault Account with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) just takes a few minutes!

85% of cyber-attacks could be prevented with MFA

MFA strongly improves your account’s security by providing a secondary level of authentication which blocks programs and codes hackers use to push through account credentials in order to gain unauthorized access to your customer’s sensitive data.

Three MFA Methods

Text message (SMS) Verification

Users will receive a text message with a 6-digit verification number.

Phone Call Verification

users will receive a phone call with a 6-digit verification number

MFA Authentication App

users can receive a 6-digit verification number via an app on their IOS or Android mobile device (currently works with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, and Twilio Authy App)

You can contact the One View Account Management team to setup the MFA functionality by emailing csm@one-view.com. This functionality will be turned on by default starting February 1st, 2022.

To opt out, please contact our Account Management team. At this time, there is no way to “turn off” MFA functionality by the Admin once it is turned on; this must be done by the One View team. Reminder: starting in June 2023, MFA will be required to use One View Vault.

Admin must log in as that User to make changes to a User’s MFA settings. The Admin can reset that User’s password and log in to configure a change. If One View Support is needed, only the Admin on the account can have One View support make changes.

No, the One View Support Team is not permitted to reset a user’s MFA functionality directly. This is in an effort to maintain compliance and prevent improper access.
